• Glass type - tempered glass is one of several safe glass types (tempered, laminated, wired glass);

• Tempering process - glass is heatened up until 650-680 Celsius degrees (tempering temperature), than it's rapidly chilled, what causes evenly located permanent internal stresses (compression around and tension in the middle) in the structure of glass;

• Strenght - tempered also known as thoughened glass is approximately 5 times stronger than standart glass;

• Expluatation temperature - thoughened glass can be used in range of temperature between -70 until 270 Celsius degrees;

• Safety - in fact of braking, tempered glass shatters into small, similar size granular chunks without sharp edges, so seriously reducing the risk of injury;

• Machining - any kind of mechanical treatment of glass can be done only before toughening process;

• Uses - safety glass is widely used in variety of different  areas, such as railings, canopies, shower boxes, partition walls, doors, hockey fields, car windows, dishes, mobile devices, etc.
